WooCommerce Subscriptions – synchronize payment dates?

Want to synchronize WooCommerce Subscriptions payment dates?

As you may know, the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin ( available from WooThemes ) makes it easy to create and manage products with recurring payments. But, subscription payment due dates are always set up to correlate to the date the customer signs up for a subscription. What if you want to synchronize all your subscription payment dates so that payments from all subscriptions become due and payable on the same day of the month?

That’s where WooCommerce Subscriptions Sync comes in. The plugin lets you pick a day of the month when all payments should become due, and from that point on all new subscriptions will become due and payable on that day of the month.

For example, lets say you want synchronize payments to the 1st of the month. All you have to do is edit the subscription product, check the box to enable synchronization, and set the day of the month that you want all payments to become due – that’s it!  With that done, all new subscribers will have their payment due dates synchronized.

NOTE 1: This plugin does not provide subscriptions capability for WooCommerce. You must use the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin to gain that functionality.

NOTE 2: This plugin will not change the due dates of existing subscriptions. It only affects new subscriptions.

Operationally, in any case where a subscriber is not signing up on your defined synchronization day, the subscriber will be granted some amount of days as a free trial period even if you have no free trial period defined for the subscription product.  The number of days granted will equal the number of days between today’s date and the next occurrence of the synchronization day. And, all new subscriptions are considered valid and active as soon as payment is received — which is the standard default behavior of the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.

This plugin support simple subscriptions and variable subscriptions. And, it should work with any payment gateway supported by WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin.
