Need a way to easily apply cart discounts?
How about checkout discounts?
WooCommerce Cart Discounts lets you apply an automatic discount to the cart total based on simple rules that you create. To create a rule you simply define a label for the discount, the minimum amount needed for the rule to be applied, the maximum amount, and a discount amount which can be a flat amount or percentage. And you can assign rules to everyone, specific users, or specific roles.
For example, maybe you define a rule with a label of “Discount”, a minimum of 100 and maximum of 500, and a discount of 20%. A shopper on your site places $200 worth of items in the cart, and the rule automatically applies the discount of $40, which is 20% of the cart total. When the shopper views the cart page or checkout page on your site they see a line item of “Discount: $40” and that much is deducted from the order total.
Create as many rules as you need, and the first matching rule is applied to the cart. And, you can optionally disallow coupon use when an automatic discount is applied to the cart. You can also choose whether the discount is applied before tax or after tax. Whichever setting you choose applies to all rules that you create. Note that the discount amount for a given rule can be a percentage or a flat amount.

Just to make sure shoppers notice the automatic discount the plugin will display a message at the top of the cart and checkout pages informing them of your generosity. You can define whatever message text you prefer, or disable that feature if you want to. See the screenshot below:
