Upgrading or renewing?

Looking for a way to stop spam in your WooCommerce product reviews and site comments?

WooCommerce Spam Stopper helps get the job done with almost no effort from you. Just activate the plugin and you’re done.

There is no documentation, and there are no settings. Read this description entirely to understand how it works.

Review spam and comment spam is a major problem all across the Internet. Several years ago some people got together to try to help curb this menace. And thus was born StopForumSpam.com – a site dedicated to tracking spammers by email address and IP address.

With this plugin active, every time someone tries to register on your site’s My Account page, or tries to post a product review, or comment to a post or page on your site, WooCommerce Spam Stopper kicks into action. It intercepts the poster’s email address and tries to determine the poster’s real IP address and then cross reference that data with the Stop Forum Spam data using their API.

If the checking at Stop Forum Spam results in a confidence level of 50% or higher then that the poster is a spammer and this plugin prevents them from registering and/or posting reviews and comments.

It’s that simple. There is no documentation for this plugin. Just activate the plugin and you’re done – it works as a “set it and forget it” plugin.

Stop Forum Spam isn’t fool proof, but it goes a long way towards curbing spammers from abusing your site.

Best of all – it’s free. Courtesy of IgniteWoo.com.   But you do need a license key ( which is free ) to receive updates and support. The key isn’t required to use the plugin – it’s only for updates and support. So simply put the plugin in your cart and go through the checkout process. When you place your order you won’t be charged anything, and afterwards you will be emailed your free license key within a few minutes.
